R.A. Séguin is inspired by such diverse musicians as bluesman Mississippi John Hurt and Celtic guitarist Bert Jansch, to produce a unique rural style, a blend of fluid melodies and syncopated rhythm. His music reflects his youth in his native town of Rockland and in the United Counties of Prescott and Russell, in the heart of Francophone Ontario.

Dégel-Thaw

Thaw, 2009

A CD that marks a transition towards eclectic arrangements inspired by music from around the world.
Compositions that are sometimes luminous, sometimes dark, created with traditional instruments and a MIDI guitar.
